Meet Katie
Hi, I’m Katie!
I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. I strive to create a space where you can slow down, explore what's been weighing on you, and feel supported as we work together.
What To Expect
1. Reach Out
Once you reach out, we'll clarify some information, such as clinical fit and preferences. Then we will find a time that works for us to meet.
2. Meet Virtually
We'll meet securely online from wherever you feel most comfortable. It is helpful to choose a space that is comfortable and private.
3. Begin Therapy
We'll explore what's bringing you to therapy and work toward meaningful, lasting change. This is a collaborative process to empower your therapy journey.
Common Questions
-
Yes! I provide secure, encrypted online counselling sessions for anyone living in British Columbia and in unregulated provinces and territories across Canada. This can be a great option if you prefer the flexibility and comfort of talking from home.
-
My fees are $165 per 50-minute individual session. You can find more details on my services page.
-
I don’t currently offer free consultations. Instead, we use our first session to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to counselling, and explore whether we feel like a good fit.
-
I do not offer direct billing at this time, but I’ll provide a detailed counselling receipt after each session. Many extended health insurance plans cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), so you can submit your receipt to your provider for potential reimbursement.
Taking the first step can feel daunting—but you don't have to do it by yourself.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult season, or simply looking for a space to be heard, therapy can be a place to begin. I'd be honoured to support you.
